The Dyslexia Tutoring Program believes that people and organizations support good causes in order to change lives. You can help improve the lives of children and adults with dyslexia. Your gift will underwrite costs such as psychological screening, tutor training, tutoring materials, supplies, and other operating expenses. With your assistance, students in the program will have the opportunity to acquire one of the most important skills needed to lead a productive life-the ability to read. Any amount is appreciated.

Sponsor A Child Program
The "Sponsor A Child"program was created to connect the donor to the client. It costs $2500 to put a child through our program. This includes our fixed costs of rent, psychologists to screen students, instructors to train our volunteer tutors, salaries, tutoring materials, and office supplies. Sponsors receive a note from a student and his or her tutor twice a year, including information about the child's progress. Sponsors learn how much the program means to the student and his or her self-esteem, as he or she becomes a more active participant in everyday activities. Donors are now writing back to the students they sponsor! The Dyslexia Tutoring Program strives to expand its outreach efforts, as well as develop new partnerships with schools, hospitals and community groups.
